Let's go chat with Kennis, an Atlanta-based singer-songwriter originally from Long Island, who is gaining recognition for his soulful blend of R&B and pop. His latest album, Kennistry, is celebrated in both R&B and Christian R&B circles. Since launching his career in 2014 with the EP AWOL and hits like “Without You” and “Godfidence,” he has formed partnerships with YouTube Studios and TBN’s JUCE TV. Kennis has performed on The Voice, participated in Kanye West’s Sunday Service, and was a panellist at the BET Experience. His music has received multiple GRAMMY® nominations and topped Mediabase charts. In 2023, he was named Rhythm & Praise Artist of the Year by the Avidity Awards. With over 1.2 million streams and extensive visibility across platforms, Kennis is affiliated with the Recording Academy, GMA Dove Awards, and SAGMA Stellar Awards.
